About
Who we are
Culture isn't a performance. It's a living, breathing way of seeing the First Nations world. At Daylight Cultural Immersions, we create the space for that world to be shared. We are an Aboriginal-owned business dedicated to connecting people with the diverse traditions and knowledge of Aboriginal Australians. Through experiences like painting, bush tucker, boomerang throwing, and guided storytelling, we offer something rare, authentic immersion, led by expert facilitators who bring these traditions to life from the inside out.
Tailored for businesses, schools, and community groups, our programs turn curiosity into connection — one experience at a time.

Kayla
Yundu Yalada, my name is Kayla Seden, and I am a proud descendant of the Western Gugu Yalanji (Karma Waters and Daintree), Bidjara (Carnavon Gorge), and Durumbal (Shoalwater Bay to Banana) peoples.
My journey across the sectors of Tourism, Early Childhood Education, Youth Services, and Alcohol and Other Drugs has given me a deep and well-rounded understanding of community needs, both the challenges we face and the incredible strengths we carry. It is this breadth of experience, woven together with my cultural knowledge and connection to Country, that drives my passion to create experiences that are not only meaningful, but genuinely transformative for the communities I serve.

Jesse
Waddamooli, my name is Jesse Coleman, and I am a proud descendant of the Gudjala (Charters Towers) and Olkola (Laura to Coen) peoples.
My life has been one of movement and learning. I have travelled extensively across Australia, living up and down the East Coast, before making Gimuy (Cairns) my home, a place that sits at the heart of both my Countries. Along the way, I have had the privilege of walking alongside and learning from some of Australia's finest cultural teachers, gifting me with knowledge, wisdom, and connection to many tribes across this great land.
Professionally, my path has been equally diverse. From State and Federal Government to serving in the Australian Defence Force, I have built a career grounded in discipline, service, and leadership. I later transitioned into the Community Sector, where I specialise in Youth Work, Alcohol and Drug Diversion Programs, and mentoring. It is the meeting point of these two worlds. Professional expertise and Aboriginal cultural knowledge. Where my purpose lives. I am committed to providing healing, guidance, and direction to people from all walks of life, drawing on everything this journey has taught me.
